Long School Expectations

During the first day of school, students participated in rotations to learn Long School Expectations.  We learned about using a "5s" line in the hallways (silent, still, straight, slow, and smiling), had a refresher on how to correctly use the recess equipment, discussed safe bus behavior and what to do when exiting the bus before school, cafeteria etiquette, and how to efficiently use the restroom and wash hands thoroughly. Our class did a terrific job listening and learning during our afternoon rotations!  I think we are going to have a a super year!

Learning about to walk in the hallway quietly from Ms. Behnen.

Dr. Parker talking with students about bus behavior.

Ms. Correnti explains cafeteria expectations.

Mrs. Maddock helps students understand how to use recess equipment safely and expected recess behaviors.

Students listen patiently about bathroom expectations.
