Reading is fun!!!!

Hi !!  This is Chloe a student blogger in Mrs. Donze`s 4th grade class!!!  Our class is working on how to use contex clues and building stamina.  Aslo we are working on retelling stories. Everyone is doing great!! I think everybody will do great in 4th grade!!!

Place Value Math Stations

To help us review for our place value test, we had math stations today.  Students used the Moodle, played  "I'm the Greatest" place value game, did a Place Value Crossword, and worked with Mrs. Donze.

Long School Expectations

During the first day of school, students participated in rotations to learn Long School Expectations.  We learned about using a "5s" line in the hallways (silent, still, straight, slow, and smiling), had a refresher on how to correctly use the recess equipment, discussed safe bus behavior and what to do when exiting the bus before school, cafeteria etiquette, and how to efficiently use the restroom and wash hands thoroughly. Our class did a terrific job listening and learning during our afternoon rotations!  I think we are going to have a a super year!
