Holiday Celebration!

We had a great time today!  Thank you to all the parents that helped make our holiday party a fun time for the students. The students loved making their own sundaes, Santa hands, and playing lots of fun games.  Have a wonderful Christmas break!

Quicktables

We have been working hard this month to quickly recall our multiplication facts.  All the students are working hard, but a few have completed their multiplication Quicktables on Aleks!  Wow!  Our goal is to have our whole class complete their Quicktables by the end of third quarter.  We can do it!

Veteran's Day- Aidan and Michael's Blog

Hi, we are this weeks bloggers, Michael and Aidan. This Wednesday was our schools Veterans Day assembly. My Father Colin Davitt was the speaker. He was in the Marine Corps and his speech was very inspiring. (Aidan's papa) In the 2nd picture is Sebastien with his Grandpa. His Grandpa was in n the Vietnam war as a Marine. In the third photo is me, ( Aidan) introduceing my Father. Thank you veterans for all that you have done and thank you protecting our country and taking the time out of your day to come to our assembly. Well that concludes this weeks blog.

Fall Fun!

Such a fun day with these great kiddos!  We headed to Crestwood park for our class reward celebration. After that we played a few rounds of multiplication bingo and got into the Halloween spirit by watching "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown!" We ended the day with our Halloween Party!  Thank you to all the parents who made our party so much fun!  Happy Halloween!

Personal Essay - Ella and Lauren's Blog

Hi this is Ella and Lauren, we have been working on a personal essay for about two weeks.We started out by doing ESSSAY BOOT CAMP. Everybody is working on personal essays about family. Today most of us are starting to make progress on finshing our personal essay😃.Mrs. Donze is helping us make good details to make our personal essays interesting.They should be finished in about a week😀.

Writing Celebration!

Today we celebrated our realistic fiction stories! The students worked very had to write dialogue, add descriptive detail, and meaningful endings. To celebrate, students met in groups and read their stories then they awarded each member of the group a Writing Award. So proud of them!

Field Trip- Bella and Michael's Blog

Hi! This is Michael and Bella, the bloggers for this week. Today, are class took a field trip to Babler State Park.  At the shop station we got to look at the utilities that were used in the 1700's.

  
    This is one of our mentors explaining how these items work and there historical value.
