#ChooseKind- Student Precepts

Our class has taken the challenge of becoming a "Certified Kind" classroom!  Becoming a "Certified Kind" classroom is connected to the book and upcoming movie, Wonder.  We will be doing a few activities to help us reach "Certified Kind" status and one of them is choosing a precept. Simply put, precepts are principles to live by.  In Wonder, Auggie’s English teacher, Mr. Browne, introduces students to his love of precepts.  I challenged my class to choose a word they want to focus on this year.  A word that is important to them.  Then students worked to find a quote that connected to their word and matched what they felt.  I LOVED seeing their work take shape!  Check out their final product below! #choosekind
