Last Week of School 2015

Another great year has come to an end! During the last week we enjoyed a Scrabble Tournament, our last Junior Achievement lesson, we were able to watch the movie Holes, and had an awards ceremony! We were even able to fit in a STEM Spaghetti/ Marshmallow activity.  And finally the highlight of the day was tossing water balloons at Mr. Schoenekase for those students who met their fourth quarter Aleks goal.  Thank you for a fantastic year! Fun Friday!

We had a fun Friday today! We had our second Junior Achievement lesson today with Mrs. Boaz. Students began to develop a business and presented their ideas to the class. Then this afternoon the ice cream truck came and the Bubble Bus! Students had a great time dancing in all the bubbles. This was a great way to celebrate the end of MAP testing!

STEM Day- Charlie B. and Emily's Blog

Today was STEM day. We all had lots of fun:) Dr. Parker and Mr Shonekase were mad scientists! We we also did an eggdrop challenge, played with Legos, we also watched a planetarium show. Our favorite part of the day was the mad scientists because they did awesome experiments. It was the best day ever!!! 

Catapult STEM ~ Derrick's Blog

This week we made catapults and tried to see who could get the cotton ball to go at least one foot or farther.We had only had few objects to use for example we got 3 items from our desk and a lot of people forgot to put glue and scissors down and they said ah. Our group forgot about scissors and my group had to work around it. Also my group containing I Derek,Fate,and Allisa had the farthest pin.

A lot of people used a spoon to make the cotton ball go in the air. Also 2 groups used cups to hold the cotton ball. This was a lot of fun and if you would like to see pictures of it scroll down.

History Museum Trip!- Marco and Ella B's Blog

Hi my name is Marco and Ella today we went to the History Museum. We learned about Missouri History and saw the Louisiana Purchase exhibit. Here are some things we did.
