Writing Celebration- Natalie and Dakota's Blog

Hi! These is Dakota and Natalie today we celebrated our information books. We went around the fourth grade classrooms and we read other kids books. We positive comments on comment sheets for each book we read. We had 10 min. to read and comment as many books as we could. It was very fun to learn about topics that other kids injoy teaching people about!

Lindbergh Connections - Emily and Alissa's Blog

Hey!!!!! Alissa and Emily here!!! Today the high school-ers came to teach us about the Louisiana purchase and the westward expansion. We got to play games and color.  Our favorite game was the transcontinental railroad,it is basicly a trivia game about the railroad. Afterward, they let us ask questions about what high school was like. We had so much fun, we think it was great!!!!! 😄

Kiera and Brian's Blog- Prism Projects

Hi, this is Keira & Brian and we're gonna' talk about Prism projects in are class this year. This is Harrison's portfolio about the Norway Spruce. Below his are Emily's, yours truly (Keira), and Sydney's project. We thought all the projects were very good and were organized.  When I saw the prism projects, I was amazed about what they did, and how good the projects looked.  It was truly an amazing experience.

Math by Lainey and Michael

Hi this is Lainey and Michael. Today in math we play fraction tic Tac to. And we also wrote on are desks because it's a leap day and we do it secretley. But it's a Tuesday and we have very little people in are class today with leap students gone. Today we learned how to subtract fractions and put it in simplest form. 

Don't go yet because yesterday we made a tally chart and to day we made the tally chart more fancy. See you later alligator have a nice day from Lainey and Michael.

Fraction Fun

Hi I'm Jackie. This week in math, we started learning about fractions. On Monday, we used foam fraction pieces. Our teacher would say a number, then we would use the pieces to make the fraction then make fractions equivalent to the frirst fraction. Then, she would call us up to the overhead to show the equivalent fractions we came up with. Then for the rest of the week, we just wrote fractions on paper. 😃

Ability Awareness

    Hi, this is Fate and Cami and today was ability awareness day.We learned about autism, Down syndrome, prosthetics ,and about people without (or, can't here very well) hearing.We First learned about autism,which is when a person is born and experiences the world differently then others.Like, if there tapped a little hard it might feel like a punch.Then, we learned about Down syndrome, which is when a person is born with a extra chromosome.It can cause people to have trouble talking,memory,and moving.Next, we learned about precedics,precedics are given to people born with out a arm, or leg.We did activities to see how hard it is to live, born without a limb.And last,we learned about deaf, or almost deaf people.If almost deaf, they get hearing aids,If completely deaf, they get a cochlear implant.Even though these people are born differently, you should treat them like normal people.
