Author Day!

What an awesome day! Students were very excited to listen to Lincolon Peirce author of the Big Nate series. He showed the students how to draw characters and how he always wanted to be a cartoonist! He also explained his last name is pronounced "Purse". He also answered students questions and gave out a few T-shirts.

After our visit with the author, we shared our own work as authors! We celebrated finishing our books today! The students worked hard to create books about a variety of tpoics. We visited all the 4th grade classrooms to read books.

Have a fun and relaxing spring break!
