Hot Wheels- Rome and Elizabeth's Blog

Hi We are Rome and Elizabeth. In science we are tracking speed and distance, building tracks to run our cars along, and recording our data. Project 1 is speed and distance as you see in the photo below.  Project 2 is building tracks (no pictures shown.)  Our class has found building tracks is great fun whereas we have found speed and distance is less exciting. Our projects have to be redesigned and added to multiple times... Until perfection. And that concludes hot wheels in science.

Welcome to the NFL Club, Melanie!

Welcome to the Never Finished Learning Hall of Fame, Melanie!  Melanie decided to take part in our Never Finished Learning challenge and completed 25 assignments to earn a place in the Hall of Fame.  NFL members go above and beyond the normal classroom expectations and challenge themselves to do more than what they "have" to do. I am so proud of your hard work and effort! Way to go!

If you would like to join Melanie in the NFL Hall of Fame, check out the Never Finished Learning tab on our class blog :)

Math Angles-Elizabeth and Miles Blog

Hi, this is Miles and Elizabeth. In math we are learning geometry. The last past few math times we have been measuring angles, such as, right angles, acute, and obtuse angles. We have been putting tape on tables and desks. We use protractors to measure the angles. We write on the tables, make mistakes, and most of all learn. We are grateful for our amazing teacher and what she has tought us!
